Weekly Menu - Still unpacking edition

I love my new kitchen. Well, I am sure I will love it once it is unpacked. The kitchen in the old house was not set up for any kind of cooking. I am not sure how the generations before me did it, really. This week is super easy, cheap and unhealthy foods. Ok... not necessarily unhealthy, just not as healthy as I would like - but a lot healthier than what we have been eating. Oy. We won't even go there.

I still need to check out grocery stores. So far, Wal-Mart is the same as it was in Michigan - cheap on everything but produce and meat. Save-a-lot is cheap on everything but meat, but the produce usually doesn't last more than a day or two. Winn Dixie is like Kroger - expensive on everything, but occasional sales. There is a Sam's Club in town, and I am not sure what else. I need a good fruit and meat market, like the one in Midland.

So this is what is going to get us through the unpacking. Next week, I hope to be back to normal. My stomach is begging.
